 Nikky's Story,Nikki (Nicker Doodles) came to us a month ago. She was a shy quiet girl who has blossomed into an active, counter cruising, love bunny! Nikki came from a home with a single elderly owner. She was a little surprised to find herself in a new family with, of all things, a kid! She quickly realized this boy was lots of fun to be with. They run together, sleep together and are working on playing together. Nikki is still not too sure what to do with the ball when she gets up to it. She is a delight to be with and loves to roll over for a good scratch on her tummy. She wants to be in on everything and loves to ride in the car. She hates to be left behind and demands extra loving when we return. (not that anyone minds loving her!) We are working on wearing a costume so she will be ready for the Purple Waddle 2003. We are thrilled to have Nikki in our family and are very grateful to the folks at ABC Rescue, Shelly Gordon for the informative interview and especially Nancy Fayed for all her support and going to bat for us with the CAPP program. Thanks to Gayle Blakey of CAPP for expediting our adoption and Dawn Matino of ABC for getting her to us. |
