Millie's Story,

Life's pretty AmAzInG sometimes. For a few months it felt weird and kinda scary too. I went from home to home; new faces, new smells, new sounds, new stuff everywhere! The nice people at ABC took me in and got me ready for my forever family. They took me to the VetMan and got me all my shots and did this operation thingie called "spaying". All I know is it was yucky and they told me I'd be ready for my new family after my stitches came out. I was a little on the thin side too, but my Foster Mom was working on getting my appetite back. (Thank you for being the bestest Foster Mom a girlie could ask for.)

I got in the car with my foster family from ABC (Thank you Karen!!) and drove for a longtime. When we finally stopped, there were these nice people who knew my name and cuddled and kissed and pet me a lot. I said a teary eyed goodbye to my foster family and the new people helped me get into their car. Then another looooooong carride and a reststop at this cool store called PetCo. A man there gave me a bath and cut my nails. YUCK! My new family said I stunk gooood! I slept the rest of the way "home."

Home. Here I am. I am finally home! Forever and Ever. I LOVE my new family! I am teaching them that I really AM a princess. They are learning quickly : ) I whine and "talk" and they get me what I want. They can't resist my sad eyes soooo, I use them to my advantage. I do this cute little dance at the door and they know it's time for my walk. Walk? Nah. We call it a "waddle" so my 4 legged sister Kessey doesn't get jealous. (Shhhh! Don't tell her. It's our secret.) We go for carrides all the time and my new Mom loves how I can bring smiles to stranger's faces by just being ME! When my new family is at work and school, Kessey and I lounge the day away. We take turns sleeping in the sunbeams that come through the windows of my new home. She even lets me share her blanket. I went to meet my new VetLady. I am now a whopping 42# (holy moly, that's 10# I've gained. I gotta watch my girlie figure!) The VetLady says I am ~perfect~ but, I already knew that! She gave me some medicine to treat my stinky ear infection. I'm all better now and kinda liked my new Dad rubbing my ears after he put the medicine in. Ok, I just like being pet and rubbed allllll the time! I can't get enough! I have my new family wrapped right around my big ole paw! I hope to see some of my old friends at the Waddle in June. I'm working on the "cutest butt". Mom says I can sure sway my tushie when we stroll! Dad says I have the bestest "ham hocks" <rolls iiiiiiiii's> He's such a guy.

I have lottsa new names. Of course Millie but I answer to Millie Moooo, Lil Miss Mill, Milldoooo (can you imagine?) Millstone, Millster and my favoritist is when Mom and I sing ~Hellooooo Millie Moooo, Goodbye Heart, Sweet Millie Moooo I'm so in love with youuuuuuu! ~ I do the Aroooooooo parts SO well!

Anyway, till then...
A Great Big Huge THANK YOU to all of you @ ABC who worked hard to find my forever home! (especially Tom, Karen and Dawn)
XOXO Big Slobbery Kisses XOXO
~Millie
