Max & Louise's
Success Story,
Here is an update on Max & Louise
Max still surf's our counters but he only will take something if we are not
watching him. We installed a piece of 1/4 inch plywood that inserts into our
kitchen door frame the piece of plywood is 20 inch's, tall enough for their
chin and eyes to look over but still high enough for them not to jump over.
Both max and Louise are doing fine, BUT they seem to be taking some time
getting use to an outboard motor running, so far we have only ran our little
3.5 in our test tank both dogs ran to the other side of the yard, two tanks
of gas later (approx. 1 hour) max took up to barking at the outboard, same
thing with the weed eater being ran clear across the other side of the yard
he will run (yes RUN) over to me about five feet away and start
barking...playfully.
They seem to like our thunderbird boat, removed the inside rear to start the
rump seat project but we have not taking them out in the boat as of yet
because of their fear of "motors", I am working with them on this as I all
ready explained.
Louise has taken to mothering our two kittens Chip and Nick and they to her
and Max both. at first I really didn't know what to expect less than a pound
kitten and a 60 pound dog licking them but the kittens enjoy it, Nick will
sit with Louise when she is eating and wait for her to drop him some food or
a nugget or two now and then. |
