 Lucy's Story,My name is Lucy. I was adopted in December 2005 by my foster mom and dad after two months in foster care. Here I am in my two favorite spots. I just love it in my new forever home. This is my fifth new home, but it's the best one!!!! I have a new friend Elwood, who shows me what to do and keeps me company all day. We get along great and love to bark together. We especially like to bark at school buses and UPS trucks. My new mommy and daddy are great too. I don't have to spend the day in a crate or tied outside anymore. I have a fenced-in backyard to hang out in and a lake house that I know I'll love in the summer. It has very big windows - I can just lie on the floor and look out at everything. My mommy and I will have lots of fun walking around the lake. I'm still very shy around strangers, who come to the house, and sometimes it takes me a very long time to warm up to them, but I'm not nearly afraid as I used to be. I like to go to Pet Smart and say hi to the other dogs; the lady there even knows my name. I'm a happy dog now and my tail wags all the time now.
