 Lady's Story,When our beloved Barney passed away at 14 years of age we were devastated. A short time after that we noticed on the available bassets for adoption web page a beautiful girl basset named Lady. We immediately feel in love with her. She looked like a female version of our Barney. She had been through a few places before we got her and she has been a joy. We found it so hard to believe that someone would give her up. She has filled a void in our hearts and I know Barney is happy that we adopted her. She has been the best basset ever although she is a bed hog, we still don’t mind. When our cats start to fight with each other she runs over to stop it. She also has one of our cats that grooms her. Millie the cat will clean her ears and face. It’s so funny.
