 Dudley's Story,Dudley was relinquished to basset rescue after he accidentally killed a baby kitten. Since this was an emergency situation, we agreed to foster him for 1 night until another foster home could be found. After 1 day, our basset, Doc, fell in love with his new foster brother. Even Marshmallow the cat took a liking to him (even though he knew his past). We decided to foster him for another week...then the adoption became permanent. Doc and Dudley are inseparable and on cold nights I even catch Marshmallow laying next to him. Dudley is all the things our perfect basset, Doc, isn't. The garbage picker, the counter surfer, the crier, the barker. We couldn't be happier! Don & Shelly G. |
