Trixie:
Trixie (originally named Cotton Top)
was the oldest gal rescued with the Missouri 34, and is still in foster care.
She had a few teeth removed before she came, but needed additional work. She had
several more abscesses and infection all the way into her jawbone. Poor thing
must have been in terrible pain for so long. Trixie recently had her second
round of dental work, but complications and continued bleeding had her back to
the vet and ER several more times. She is finally stable and looking like she is
feeling better, and even made an appearance at the St. Patty's Day Pawty! Trixie
sure would appreciate a basset angel or two to help her with her vet expenses,
and maybe someone would even find it in their heart to offer this spunky old gal
a forever home?
If you can't adopt
or foster right now you can still help a homeless basset in need by being a
Basset's Angel.
