Scarlett:

Scarlett is a 5 yr. old red and white female. She and her pal Snickers are a bonded pair and should not be separated. Scarlett has been treated for heartworm and an ear infection and is a happy healthy sweet girl. She is a smaller basset, about 35lbs, she is excellent on leash, is crate trained and loves to be groomed. She is very smart and wants to please. She has no food agression, has not counter surfed. She does bark and chase the cats but understands "no". She is housebroken but does not ask to go out, if kept on a schedule she has no accidents. She loves to play with all the dogs and enjoys snuggle time, she also likes riding in the car. She is sometimes a bit timid with new people but warms up quickly and loves any attention. Scarlet is a sweet well behaved girl, it has been a pleasure to have her in my home.... she will be missed when she is adopted.

If you can't adopt or foster right now, you can still help a homeless basset in need by being a Virtual Foster Home.

My virtual foster mom is Jackie Weaver in Jacksonville, FL in memory of Ruby

My virtual foster hounds are Roxie and Roxy in Pembroke Pines, FL
