Chloe:

Chloé was a breeder dog who was surrendered when her owner moved away. But after 5 known litters, her baby-making-days are officially over! It's safe to assume Chloé produced some wonderful pups, since she's such a friendly and polite lady herself. She's able to adapt to new situations and environments with ease. She's tolerant and friendly with cats, dogs, strangers, and kids. Despite having a flabby underbelly from her time as a breeder dog, she's got the most incredible wavy brindle coat and the softest, saddest basset eyes around. Chloé is housebroken, knows a few commands, and loves the car. She also has a tendency to snore during naps, which is quite often. She is a "Velcro" dog, and will follow you around the house, and would like nothing more than to sleep in your room at night. Chloé is not a huge fan of the crate, but her foster mom is helping her become more comfortable with that. Her original owner reported that Chloé wasn't a fan of the water, but she took a warm bath the first night at her foster home without any resistance at all. If you're looking for an all-around friendly, sweet & lazy dog, with beautiful and unique fur, Chloé is the right girl for you!

If you can't adopt or foster right now, you can still help a homeless basset in need by being a Virtual Foster Home.
