 Columbo's Story,Boy, I'm one lucky dog! In my five years, I have had the good fortune to live in TWO very nice homes. My original owners took great care of me and loved me for many years, but due to personal circumstances, they had to find a new owner for me. My new mom is a lot of fun too, and so far, I am very happy! Now I have the one thing I always wanted -- a brother! His name is Fred, and he and I get to play together, eat together, lay outside together, and occasionally, make mischief together! I've been able to teach Fred some really nifty new tricks too -- like how to knock over the wastebaskets and make a huge mess and how to counter-surf! He is my best buddy, that Fred, even though he sometimes gets a little jealous of me, the new dog on the block. My new mom just loves me so much! Sometimes she calls me "Bo-Bo," and I sort of like that! I love to make her laugh by doing funny things, like the time I crawled up onto the back of the couch and perched just like a cat. And sometimes I just roll onto my back and let her rub my belly -- and she laughs at all my freckles and tells me how cute I am! We got to go to the Purple Waddle in Rochester in May, and I walked in the parade wearing my patriotic t-shirt! Sometimes she lets us have a little vanilla ice cream treat at the ice cream store, and I really love that. And pretty soon, she is taking us to camp with her for a whole week! I can hardly wait! |
