 Bonnie's Story,Hi everybody!! My name is Bonnie & I am 11 years young. I'm a success story as I'm now in a nice home with some 2 legged creatures who pay lots of attention to me!! When I first moved here I would get really nervous and cry if mom or pop left to go somewhere. As I've been rescued 2 times before this I was afraid they would not come back. Now I've learned that they always come back home. When I first got here mom & pop took me to meet this nice lady vet. She was very nice but she had the nerve to suggest that maybe I could loose a few pounds. Of all the nerve!!! I told her it took me 11 years to get the way I am and was not sure I wanted to part with any of my weight!! She just laughed and gave me a belly rub and all was good! I have a sister named Ruby. She was kinda saved too as mom & pop bought her from a breeder who was abusing her. Then they also have 2 of! those things called dumb cats. But they keep pretty much to themselves so I guess they are not too bad. Life is very good now. They have this thing called a fireplace. I just love to stretch out in front of it and roast myself. I also get lots of great belly rubs!!!! Mom & pop keep telling me I have to register my tail as a dangerous weapon. Just because I wag it very hard and anything in range goes flying!!! I'm looking fore ward to this summer. Mom & pop have told me they go camping a lot. They have told me that this year our first camping trip will be to the Waddle. Ohhhhhhhhh I feel some embarrassment coming from this thing. Sure as heck they will want dress me up goofy!!! Mom & pop volunteer on the Adirondack Scenic Railroad. Riding on the train sounds like fun and I've got my engineers cap ready to go. Well so long for now I'll see you all at the Waddle. Ahhhhhhhhhh! life is good again!!!!! |
