“There’s No Place Like Home” Waddle!
Friday May 30th Pre-Waddle Party 5 PM –

Saturday May 31st Waddle Day 9 AM – 6 PM
This year’s waddle will be held in the Village of Chittenango (just
east of Syracuse) the birthplace of Frank Baum, the author of the
Wizard of Oz. This year marks the 30th year of “Oz-Stravaganza”, the
longest running Oz festival in the USA. ABC has been told that 4-5
of the original munchkins and the actress that was the fill-in for
Dorothy will be in attendance. ABC will be a part of this great
event when we will be waddling down the Yellow Brick Road.

Do you have time to “lend a paw” and help make the difference in the lives of New York’s homeless
hounds?
ABC Basset Hound Rescue is
looking for people all across New York State to foster dogs until
they find their forever homes!
The best thing about volunteering is whether you are able to give 10 minutes a month, or 10 hours a month, everything you give either directly or indirectly impacts the life of a hound in need. There is no such thing as giving too much or too little. It’s the fact you are taking the time to give that counts. You can volunteer as much as you want. There are no minimum time requirements/commitments for ABC volunteers. Every little bit helps.

The Basset Angel Program is a sponsor program for people who want to help a
Foster Basset Hound get the second chance they deserve. The cost of bringing
a basset into rescue can be enormous... spaying, neutering, heartworm
testing and treatment if necessary, infections, injuries from abuse and
just, old age. Please help us continue our efforts now and in the future by
sponsoring one of these wonderful bassets.
